Job summary

Life Support Technician/ U/W Dive Propulsion, Navigation, and Communication Specialist is responsible for overseeing NSW dive systems and ROVs. The role includes supervising eight contractors, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will develop and deliver end-user training, maintain equipment, and provide technical input to engineering teams. Requires active Secret clearance and five years as a certified diver.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a certified diver (5342/M1DV/OPSDC or higher).
• Navy Dive School certified (or higher).
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise eight dive department contractors and ensure adherence to duties and contractual requirements.
• Manage work schedules, leave, and staffing coverage; delegate tasks based on skills.
• Develop procedures for daily/weekly task assignments; monitor performance and adherence to guidelines.
• Provide training and certification on combat diving propulsion, navigation, and ROVs; maintain training records.
