Job summary

People Technology And Processes seeks a Life Support Maintenance Manager III to lead the NSW Dive Life Support and recompression systems at JEB Little Creek–Fort Story, VA. The role requires SECRET clearance and directs maintenance, inventory, and SME activities for diving materiel and DLSS.

You will supervise contractor staff, manage training programs, and coordinate with NSWG-2 to ensure readiness of E-UBA/EC-UBA systems and related equipment across remote sites.

Qualifications

• Navy Dive School Certification required (NEC 5342 / M1DV or higher).
• Navy Instructor Certification (NEC 9502) required.
• Eight+ years as a certified 5342 / M1DV diver or higher.
• Three years MK-16 Maintenance Technician experience.
• Three years MK-25 Maintenance Technician experience.
• Maintenance & Material Management (3M) qualifications incl. M&M, QA, and Work Center Supervisor.
• NAVEDTRA 43910 series qualification.
• Factory-trained certifications for diving equipment, REC Supervisor, and Oxygen Clean System Worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME for diving materiel use and sustainment and advise on DTP development.
• Supervise two contractor positions and manage staffing, scheduling, and coverage.
• Perform 3M maintenance duties and ensure compliance with NAVSEA and 3M standards.
• Coordinate training development for end-user maintenance and qualification.
