Job summary

AECOM is seeking qualified individuals to be part of our Novi, Michigan underwater inspection team as an Engineer Diver - Civil IV. This role involves direct participation in underwater structural assessments on projects across the United States, with a hybrid work model in place.

Responsibilities include surface supplied diving operations, regulatory compliance, safety oversight for divers and equipment, and producing comprehensive inspection reports for clients.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 6 years relevant experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• ACDE Dive School Diploma or Military Diving Diploma.
• ADCI Air Diver Certification or ability to obtain with military experience.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface supplied diving operations as part of underwater inspection team.
• Ensure compliance with ADCI regulations, USACE provisions and state/federal laws in all projects.
• Maintain safety of divers and equipment; participate in safety briefings and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of diving operations and generate detailed inspection reports.
