Job summary

AECOM is seeking qualified individuals to join our Michigan-based underwater inspection team as an Engineer Diver. The role involves performing surface supplied diving operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety, and project needs.

You will be responsible for maintaining diver and equipment safety, participating in safety briefings, and keeping detailed records of operations, with travel as needed within project scope.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Candidate must successfully pass a drug & alcohol test.
• ACDE Dive School Diploma or Military Diving Diploma
• ADCI Entry Level Diver/Tender (Or ability to obtain with Military Experience)

Job Description

AECOM is seeking qualified individuals to be a part of our Michigan based underwater inspection team as an Engineer Diver.

• This position will require performing and assisting with surface supplied diving operations.
• Execute each project ensuring a satisfied customer including legal requirements such as: ADCI regulations, USACE provisions and state and federal laws.
• Ensuring the safety of all divers and equipment, participating in safety briefings, and responding to emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate records of diving operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid Driver’s license.

• BS in Civil Engineering
• FHWA-NHI-130055 or 130056 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Certification
• ADCI Air Diver or ADCI Air Diving Supervisor
• TWIC Card.
