Systems Planning & Analysis is seeking a seasoned program manager with expertise in undersea weapon systems to join their team in Alexandria, Virginia. The role involves managing weapon system development and supporting government program managers with requirements and acquisitions.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in program management and Navy acquisition, along with substantial experience in submarine programs. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, along with various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in program/project management.
• 10+ years’ experience with Navy acquisition and/or in‑service programs.
• 5+ years of experience with U.S. Navy submarine programs.
• 3+ years of experience as a program manager.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Active Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide undersea weapon system expertise to NAVSEA affiliated PEOs.
• Manage research and technology initiatives for weapon system development.
• Support government program managers in requirements development.
• Manage contractual documentation to support acquisition milestones.
• Assist in planning, programming, and budgeting for undersea warfare systems.
• Track budgets and produce reports related to budget status.
