Job summary

Burgess Civil in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a seasoned Foreman with at least 5 years in civil construction and underground utilities to lead onsite crews on water, sewer, and storm projects.

Responsibilities include supervising pipe crews, ensuring safety, coordinating with the Superintendent, reading blueprints, and maintaining equipment and daily progress reports. Strong leadership and OSHA knowledge required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in civil construction and underground utilities as a Foreman.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• Knowledge of on-site safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate pipe crew activities including fitting pipe and installing sanitary or storm water systems.
• Train crew on equipment use and safety procedures.
• Inspect site to determine sequencing and method of pipe installation and identify hazards.
