Job summary

Sunrock is seeking an Underground Utility Foreman to oversee installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems on heavy civil projects. You will plan manpower, equipment, and materials, direct field crews, enforce safety standards, and ensure work is completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget.

You will lead crews, mentor foremen and laborers, monitor productivity, manage costs, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and utility companies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising utility construction in heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility methods, trenching, and compaction.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specs.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid NC Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of underground utility installation on Sunrock's heavy civil projects.
• Lead and supervise crews installing water, sewer, storm drain, and related systems.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and materials; direct field crews; enforce safety standards.
• Monitor productivity, track materials, and control project costs.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and utility companies.
• Resolve conflicts with existing utilities or site conditions to keep projects on track.
