You will lead trenching, directional drilling, and conduit work, coordinate fiber optic pulls and splicing, manage large crews, and collaborate with engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Compensation includes hourly wage $35–$45 with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience across all underground construction activities.
• Strong understanding of directional drilling, trenching, plowing, conduit installation, and fiber optic cable pulling/splicing workflows.
• Proven ability to manage large field crews, coordinate schedules, and interface productively with project engineers.
• Flexibility to travel regularly to project locations throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end execution of underground infrastructure projects.
• Direct trenching, directional drilling, and plowing operations.
• Ensure work adheres to blueprints and local safety regulations.
• Coordinate fiber optic pulling and splicing teams for network continuity.
• Manage crew schedules and liaise with project engineers.
• Enforce safety standards to keep excavation zones incident-free.
