B.H. Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time General Superintendent to direct divisional field operations for underground infrastructure projects. You will manage trenching, directional drilling, and fiber optic cable pulling, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget.

The role offers weekly pay, 50+ hour weeks, travel per diem, a 401(k) match, comprehensive health coverage, and PTO. You will lead and mentor crews while coordinating with engineers to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience across all underground construction activities.
• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of directional drilling, trenching, plowing, conduit installation, and fiber optic cable pulling/splicing workflows.
• Leadership capability: Proven ability to manage large field crews, coordinate schedules, and interface productively with project engineers.
• Travel availability: Flexibility to travel regularly to project locations throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end execution of underground infrastructure projects for Wireless & Communications division.
• Direct large-scale trenching, directional drilling, and plowing operations to establish clean pathways for new conduit.
• Ensure all structural elements and junction boxes meet blueprints and safety regulations; coordinate fiber pulling and splicing for network continuity.
• Manage crew schedules, collaborate with project engineers, and enforce safety standards to maintain incident-free excavation zones.
• Bridge engineering designs and field execution to deliver a fully tested, code-compliant network on time and within budget.
