Walker Lovell Ltd. is seeking an experienced underground mining engineer to shape mine plans, optimize production schedules and advance development in a limestone underground operation.

You will lead ground control initiatives, strengthen roof and pillar stability, and apply your expertise to ventilation, blasting and safe underground operations, collaborating with site leadership to improve safety and productivity.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong underground mining experience in hard rock limestone or similar environment.
• Deep knowledge of ground control, roof control and pillar stability.
• Experience with mine planning, ventilation and blasting.
• Understanding of MSHA Part 48 requirements.
• Experience tackling challenging underground conditions with a safety mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Shape underground mine plans, production schedules and future development.
• Lead technical work on ground control to improve roof and pillar stability.
• Apply expertise to ventilation planning, blasting and safe underground operations.
• Investigate complex geological conditions and translate findings into practical engineering solutions.
• Work with the Mine Manager and site leadership to improve safety, productivity and operational performance.
• Influence longer-term mine planning and expansion initiatives.
• Bring engineering judgment to a limestone underground operation.
