Job summary

Visionary Communications LLC in Casper, WY, seeks an Outside Plant Underground Construction Locator/Operator. This full-time role requires traveling within Visionary territories to build and maintain underground fiber, manage trenches and handholes, and coordinate with Engineering and Construction teams.

The candidate must have 5+ years of telecom underground construction, a CDL or ability to obtain one, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years telecom underground construction experience.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Detail oriented and able to pass drug test and background screen.
• Knowledge of fiber mapping software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate required machinery safely to complete the job.
• Create daily production reports and track work hours.
• Maintain accurate as-built maps for areas constructed.
• Coordinate with fleet management for vehicle and machine maintenance.
