Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC in Raleigh, NC is hiring an Underground Superintendent to lead underground distribution construction crews across the Carolinas/East Region. You will promote a strong safety culture, oversee field crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer specifications.

You will coordinate manpower, equipment, and outages, monitor productivity and quality, and drive corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of underground electric distribution construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience managing multiple crews and field leaders.
• Journeyman Lineman certification preferred and OSHA 20 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work plans.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture while ensuring OSHA and company requirements are met.
• Oversee multiple underground distribution construction crews and field personnel.
• Manage project execution to meet safety, schedule, budget, and customer specs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, outages, and construction activities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and performance metrics; implement corrective actions.
• Develop field leadership personnel and mentor workforce growth; support storm restoration.
