Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an experienced foreman to lead and supervise underground construction crews, coordinating daily work assignments, equipment, and production goals on OSP projects.

You will review construction prints, routes, utility locates, permits, and scope requirements; oversee HDD, trenching, conduit installation, and restoration; ensure safety compliance and quality, and coach field crews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of OSP underground construction experience, foreman or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction prints, utility maps, route plans, and locate markings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage crews and changing field priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise underground construction crews and coordinate daily work assignments, equipment, and production goals.
• Review construction prints, routes, utility locates, permits, and scope requirements before beginning work.
• Oversee HDD, trenching, excavation, conduit installation, handholes/vaults, fiber placement, and restoration as applicable.
• Ensure safety compliance, traffic-control plans, excavation practices, and customer standards.
• Track daily footage, production quantities, materials, equipment usage, and field documentation.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers, Project Managers, QC personnel, locators, inspectors, subcontractors, and other field crews to maintain schedule.
• Verify work is installed to required route, depth, clearance, and quality standards; correct deficiencies promptly.
