Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a certified ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic scans across neonatal to geriatric patients, and to work breast ultrasound in the Breast Center under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Candidates must hold ARDMS certification and BLS, with an approved training program. Prior imaging experience is preferred; benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or two year program in sonography or related field.
• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Upon hire: ARDMS certification.
• Upon hire: BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, under the direction of a Radiologist.
• For Breast Center: independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on breast under Radiologist direction.
• Performs procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.

For Breast Center: Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on breast. Performs procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Two year technical program or a combination of education and directly related work experience
• For Imaging Department: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: ARDMS in Abdomen and OB (for Imaging Department)
• Prior ultrasound experience

The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Base pay range may be supplemented with shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums and other incentive or bonus opportunities.
