Job summary

Balyasny Asset Management L.P. is seeking highly skilled C++ engineers to join our Systematic technology team, focusing on building modern, low-latency, high-availability research and trading infrastructure in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will design, develop, and optimize trading components, integrate market connectivity, and work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other technologists to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Expert-level proficiency in C++ (modern standards).
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems in production trading.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency trading components and infrastructure with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Integrate and maintain connectivity to global exchanges and liquidity venues; develop OMS features.
• Profile, benchmark, and tune systems for ultra-low latency and high throughput.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and other technologists to deliver aligned solutions.
• Ensure high availability and participate in on-call rotations.
• Evaluate new technologies to maintain a competitive edge in technology.
