Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks a Senior Product UI Visual Designer to turn rough wireframes and AI-generated concepts into polished, production-ready visuals. You will enforce our design standards across dense, data-heavy front office tools used by traders and analysts.

You will collaborate with product designers, managers, and engineers to maintain visual quality from concept to shipped features. Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Claude-based tooling are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product/UI visual design with a strong visual craft (typography, layout, color, hierarchy).
• Ability to elevate low-fidelity input into refined, standards-compliant visual design.
• Deep fluency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and tokens/variables.
• Working knowledge of design systems and how components, tokens, and documentation fit together.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to present and defend design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Interpret wireframes and rough prototypes into high-fidelity, production-ready visuals.
• Enforce and apply CWAN visual design standards across screens.
• Make design judgments when drafts are ambiguous or inconsistent.
• Deliver polished, developer-ready Figma files with specs and redlines.
• Partner with product designers, PMs, and engineers to ensure visual quality from concept to shipped feature.
