Job summary

First Object is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer focused on UI/UX testing to ensure quality, usability, and visual consistency across web and application interfaces. The role emphasizes UI testing, functional testing, and test automation to validate design specifications and user experiences.

You will mentor junior QA engineers, collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and product managers, and contribute to improving testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Eng, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• 47 years of experience in software testing.
• Hands-on UI/UX testing experience.
• Experience with UI automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with UI across browsers/devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end UI/UX testing of web and application interfaces.
• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases for functional and UI requirements.
• Validate UI components against design specs and UX requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability, and visual testing.
• Validate responsive behavior across screen sizes, browsers, and devices.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure alignment with specs.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to test strategy.
