Job summary

FIS is seeking a UI/UX Senior Software Engineer to join a hybrid team delivering fintech front-end solutions. You will code hands-on, solve problems, and collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering to create scalable, accessible interfaces.

The role emphasizes translating Figma designs to robust UI using ReactJs, TypeScript, and modern CSS. You will contribute to a design system, participate in tests, and stay ahead of frontend trends in a collaborative fintech environment.

Qualifications

2-5+ years of frontend software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or FinTech.
Strong proficiency in ReactJs, TypeScript, and modern CSS/SCSS; knowledge of RESTful APIs.
Interest in AI-assisted development tools and staying ahead of technology trends.
Experience with design hand-off tools like Figma is a plus.
Ability to analyze user flows, propose technical solutions, and deliver performant UI.

Responsibilities

UI Implementation: build high-fidelity interfaces using a shared design system.
UX & Product Thinking: collaborate with Product and Design to understand personas and pain points.
Design System Fidelity: translate Figma designs into responsive layouts with tokens and shared styles.
Accessibility & Quality: implement semantic markup, keyboard navigation, WCAG standards; thorough UI testing.
