Senior UI/UX Designer

Washington D.C. Area (100% remote)

What you'll be doing

We are seeking a data-driven Senior UI/UX Designer skilled in B2B software design. Utilizing your passion for UI/UX, you will work in close collaboration with our UX & Design team, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and our Customers to elevate the design and user experience of our products.

Responsibilities

1. Possess a fundamental understanding of information hierarchy and have the ability to clearly express through design.
2. Engage with stakeholders to understand customer needs related to business analytics and reporting, and translate requirements into captivating designs and effective interfaces.
3. Partner closely with product managers to define hypotheses, create user stories, and identify KPIs that help ensure we are solving the right problems in the right way.
4. Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating quickly and pivoting when needed to influence design decisions and priorities effectively.
5. Contribute to end-to-end conceptualization, testing, and design of visualizations that turn data into easily digestible dashboards for customers.
6. Create wireframes and prototypes based on business requirements, adhering to best practices and style guides.

Skills we're seeking

• 5+ years of experience with UI/UX Design
• Experience with prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, etc.
• Experience with WordPress
• Experience leading less experienced UI/UX designers
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice to haves

• Hand-coding experience with HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with data visualization
• Experience interfacing with government clients
