Job summary

10Pearls is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to help define visions and design innovative solutions for clients and 10Pearls. You will collaborate across functions, serve as the voice of users, and balance business needs with user needs.

Hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite at Tysons Corner. The team operates globally across onshore, nearshore, and offshore locations, with opportunities to mentor others and contribute to marketing concepts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital product (UX/UI) design experience, incl. 3+ years in consulting/agency.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across global teams and stakeholders.
• Experience running discovery workshops and scoping UX/UI work with clients.
• Deep knowledge of human-centered and strategic design methods grounded in research.
• Experience building/using brand guidelines, style guides, and design systems.
• Experience designing for web, iOS, Android; ability to advise buy vs build decisions.
• Familiar with AI capabilities and their interaction patterns in design.
• Clear communicator capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Self-directed with drive to simplify and improve for users.
• Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and design sessions with clients to understand vision, goals, and product requirements.
• Plan and run user research and usability testing; translate findings into design-led improvements.
• Own design on engagements from brainstorming to high-fidelity designs; hand off to engineering.
• Design for established and emerging AI capabilities to speed insight and delivery.
• Present work to client and internal sponsors using flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specs.
• Mentor other designers and provide constructive feedback on their work.
• Occasionally support Global Marketing with concepts and visuals for corporate design.

About the Role:

10Pearls is looking to add a Senior UI/UX Designer to the team. This motivated, strategic, and creative designer will have significant responsibilities in our efforts to build best-in-class products.

You'll collaborate with our clients and with team members across functions to define the vision and design innovative solutions to complex business problems, for our clients and for 10Pearls. You'll serve as the voice of the client and their users, balancing business needs with users' needs, wants, and expectations.

This is a hybrid role that requires 4 days per week onsite at our Tysons Corner office.

Your day-to-day:

• Lead discovery workshops and design sessions with clients to understand their vision, business goals, and product requirements
• Plan and run user research and usability testing, then use the findings to make the case for design-led improvements
• Own design on your engagements, from brainstorming and whiteboarding through intuitive, high-fidelity designs that meet brand standards and hand off cleanly to engineering
• Design for established and emerging AI capabilities, and use AI as a delivery support partner to speed up insight and delivery
• Present your work and keep client and internal executive sponsors up to date, using process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and functional specs
• Mentor other designers and give clear, constructive feedback on their work
• Occasionally support our Global Marketing team with concepts and graphics for corporate design work

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of experience in digital product (UX/UI) design, including at least 3 years in a consulting or agency environment
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional and global teams (onshore, nearshore, and offshore), with the empathy to help people with differing perspectives find alignment
• Experience running discovery workshops and scoping UX/UI work with clients and senior stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of human-centered and strategic design methods, with ideas and prototypes grounded in research, technical requirements, and business goals
• Strong experience building and using brand guidelines, style guides, and design systems
• Experience designing custom software for web, iOS, and Android, from mobile to enterprise applications, and recommending buy versus build with clear tradeoffs
• Familiarity with established and emerging AI capabilities and their interaction patterns, and experience using AI as a delivery support partner to accelerate insight and delivery
• A clear communicator who can facilitate, write, and present to senior stakeholders
• Self-directed, with a real drive to make things simpler and better for users
• Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
