Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Client Experience Frameworks group in New York, NY. You’ll build framework-agnostic UI components and contribute to a design system used across diverse frontend technologies.

You will own technical direction, drive adoption, and balance scalability with real-world constraints while expanding your knowledge of multiple frameworks and web standards. Base salary ranges reflect market conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year as a professional software engineer (internships count).
• Experience with at least one modern UI framework (React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Ember, etc.).
• Exposure to build tools/bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
• Commitment to clean, reusable, well-documented code.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain framework-agnostic UI components for multiple frontend tech stacks.
• Support design system adoption across product teams.
• Improve developer experience through tooling, testing, and automation.
• Write accessible, well-tested component code with maintainability in mind.
• Learn across frameworks and align with web standards.
• Participate in design reviews for architecture and API consistency.
• Champion performance and accessibility in all shipped work.
