Job summary

North Point Technology in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build modern, enterprise-scale web applications on AWS. You will deliver React and TypeScript interfaces backed by Node.js services, and deploy on AWS infrastructure.

This hands-on role requires designing features end-to-end, collaborating with customers and technical leads, and contributing to architecture discussions while improving front-end performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building enterprise-scale React applications with TypeScript, including hooks, components, routing, data fetching, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Node.js/Express.js for secure REST APIs, including authentication and data model integration.
• Proficient in modern state management (Context, Zustand, TanStack Query) for complex workflows and visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features end to end from requirements to production deployment.
• Break down customer requirements into technical solutions and perform root-cause analysis for frontend and integration issues.
• Review code, strengthen engineering practices, and prototype features with customers and technical leads.
