Job summary

FM Talent Source is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer (ReactJS) for a full-time contract to design, develop, and deploy modern, accessible web applications for federal clients. You will collaborate with data scientists, backend developers, and subject matter experts to deliver production-ready frontend interfaces.

The ideal candidate has strong React and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, plus experience with Vite, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/Radix UI, and a working knowledge of Python for backend

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of Front-End development experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Demonstrated experience building accessible UIs (WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA).
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, responsive front-end interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Implement styling with Tailwind CSS and component libraries like shadcn/Radix UI.
• Use Vite for rapid frontend tooling and bundling.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate Python-based RESTful APIs and ML models.
• Incorporate AI tools to accelerate development and improve UX.
• Leverage AWS services (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway) to deploy frontend apps.
• Work with cross-functional teams to add AI capabilities to web apps.
• Prototype UI/UX concepts for data triage and automated discovery.
