Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior UI Developer in the AI Studio team to own the end-to-end frontend experience, from UX concepts to production interfaces. You will work with product, backend, data, and ML teams to deliver secure, accessible, and scalable user experiences.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master/Bachelor with extensive CS/IT experience as described in the job qualifications.
• Experience delivering production web applications with strong UI/UX ownership.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React-based frameworks (e.g., Next.js).

Responsibilities

• Lead user-centred discovery with product and UX partners.
• Translate user research into clear UX designs and UI requirements.
• Own translation of UX designs into responsive frontend architecture.
• Lead UI delivery using React/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Design human-AI UX and UI experiences integrating model services and AI capabilities.
• Establish end-to-end testing, CI/CD, and observability for frontend delivery.
• Coordinate governance, create reusable UI components, and mentor engineers.
