Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Senior UI Designer in Dearborn, MI for a premier automotive client. You will craft polished, visually compelling interfaces across web and mobile, collaborating with UX, Product, Researchers, and Engineers to deliver cohesive customer experiences.

Design high-fidelity interfaces, contribute to design systems, and ensure scalable, production-ready outcomes with strong typography and layout.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years designing digital products for web and mobile.
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design and UI craft.
Expertise in typography, color theory, layout, spacing and hierarchy.
Experience creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC).
Experience contributing to design systems and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong communication to articulate design decisions.

Responsibilities

Design high-quality user interfaces for web, mobile, and responsive experiences.
Translate requirements, wireframes, flows into polished designs.
Apply visual design principles including typography, color, hierarchy.
Create mockups, prototypes, motion studies to communicate concepts.
Ensure consistency via design systems and patterns across products.
Collaborate with UX and Product Designers to improve experiences.
Partner with Engineers to ensure scalable, feasible implementations.
