Akkodis is seeking a Senior UI Designer in Dearborn, MI for a premier automotive client. You will transform wireframes and concepts into polished, visually compelling digital products for web and mobile platforms.

Collaborate with UX, Product Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to craft cohesive customer experiences that are both functional and visually engaging. Remote candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Visual Design, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
• Expertise in typography, color theory, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and interaction design.
• Experience creating high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong visual design principles including typography, color, hierarchy, layout, spacing, imagery, and interaction design.

• Partner with Engineers to ensure designs are scalable, feasible, and implemented with a high degree of quality.
