Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) / Robotics Engineering SME to provide technical leadership and systems engineering expertise for robotics programs in the United States. The SME will guide architecture, requirements development, technology assessments, integration planning, and technical evaluations for autonomous and remotely operated ground systems.

The role encompasses planning, development, testing, fielding, and collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Systems/Mechanical/Electrical/Robotics or related field.
10+ years of defense systems engineering experience, including unmanned/robotic systems.
Secret Clearance required; #qinetiqclearedjob
Experience with lifecycle system engineering and complex hardware/software integrations.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering leadership across planning, development, integration and deployment of UGV programs.
Support requirements analysis, architecture development, interface definition and trade studies.
Evaluate mobility, power, sensing, autonomy, payload, and mission-support subsystems.
Develop and review system requirements, ICDs, specifications and technical analyses.
Lead V&V activities, tests planning, and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with government, labs, contractors and partners on technical reviews and briefs.
Maintain configuration management and requirements traceability across projects.
