Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to translate customer needs into total system solutions. You will interface with the customer, lead MBSE/SysML activities, and work with cross-functional teams across lifecycle stages from requirements development to sustainment.

You will apply MBSE, SysML, and risk analyses on DoD, robotics, and imaging programs, and support test engineering, V&V, and configuration management while collaborating in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a relevant engineering field; MS preferred.
• At least five years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with fielded DoD systems or robotics/imaging.
• Experience in MBSE, SysML, and requirements traceability.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use MBSE and SysML to define and trace system design.
• Develop product design descriptions, requirements and test docs.
• Support system reliability programs; analyze data.
• Manage key system-level performance factors.
• Verify and validate system and component performance to specs.
• Support hands-on integration and test fixtures; troubleshoot.
