Job summary

UC San Diego Health Sciences is seeking a Curriculum Planner 3 for the Hybrid Medical Education program. You will coordinate curriculum planning, course operations, and digital learning resources to support UGME.

The role requires collaboration with faculty, leadership, and technology teams to ensure compliant, accessible, and high-quality education delivery. Responsibilities include course scheduling, data management, and accreditation-related activities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience, education/training, or a Bachelor's degree in related area.
• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with department senior management, faculty, and students.
• Proven ability in problem identification, reasoning, analysis to identify trends.
• Proven ability to find solutions to conflicting situations.
• Thorough knowledge of department, organization, and University policies, procedures, and directives.
• Thorough knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
• Thorough knowledge of department and school/college general and major course and degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate curriculum planning, course operations, educational technology, and digital accessibility initiatives.
• Serve as a key member of UGME team and coordinate planning, implementation, maintenance, and improvements of courses, curriculum processes, and LMS.
• Manage educational data, learner compliance tracking, and communications across multiple learning systems.
• Collaborate with faculty, curriculum leadership, and IT to resolve issues and support accreditation.
