Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Unified Communications Administrator in San Antonio, TX, to design and manage large-scale UC solutions across VoIP, video, and collaboration platforms. You will work with Cisco UC appliances, AD, and cloud services, ensuring security and performance while supporting end users and documenting configurations.

You will develop and maintain dial plans, monitor system health, and collaborate with vendors.

Qualifications

Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or the ability to acquire Top Secret/SCI.
At least 4 years of telecommunications technical experience installing, administering, and upgrading Cisco Unified Collaboration appliances and troubleshooting converged networks that leverage Cisco UC capabilities.
Must be able to independently deploy and maintain server-based dial plans and Cisco UC appliances.
Must possess or be able to obtain CCNA and one of Level II/III 8140 baseline certifications before start date.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement unified communications solutions focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
Install and set up UC systems including VoIP, video, and collaboration platforms for seamless integration.
Monitor, maintain, and secure UC infrastructure and integrate with AD and cloud services.
Provide end-user support and training; create comprehensive documentation.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software and manage delivery timelines.
Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity.
