Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Sr. UC Network Engineer to support a growing client at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, IL. The role sits onsite 4 days per week and focuses on enterprise unified communications, Cisco collaboration technologies, and mission-critical network infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have CCIE/CCNP Collaboration, 8+ years of networking/UC experience, and hands-on Cisco Call Manager, Jabber, and UC systems expertise to drive modernization and reliability.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• CCIE Collaboration or CCNP Collaboration certification.
• 8+ years of professional networking and UC experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco Call Manager, Jabber, and UC infrastructure.
• Strong background in firewall policies, routing, switching, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical advisor on enterprise UC and network modernization.
• Engineer, maintain, and optimize Cisco collaboration environments (CUCM, Jabber, voice gateways, PSTN).
• Evaluate and implement network infrastructure solutions across routing, switching, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–3 issues ensuring reliability for mission-critical ops.
• Support network architecture, gateway protocols, and strategic planning initiatives.
