Job summary

Technology Ventures is seeking a Quality Tester Analyst to support mortgage technology applications, focusing on Uniform Closing Disclosure (UCD) and related loan processes. You will partner with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to ensure high-quality software through hands-on automation and careful analysis of complex workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA, strong mortgage industry knowledge, and hands-on automation with Selenium/Playwright.

Qualifications

5+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, execute, and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and scenarios.
Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, system, and user acceptance testing.
Conduct API testing and backend validation of services.
Develop automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Playwright with BDD/Gherkin.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and validate functionality.
Analyze defects, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution with dev teams.
Validate XML-based transactions and MISMO mortgage datasets.
Execute database validation using Oracle and SQL queries.
Support testing for UCD, mortgage origination, closing, and acquisition processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain test documentation and metrics.
Utilize Jira and GitLab to manage testing and CI/CD workflows.
Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and testing effectiveness.
Contribute to quality engineering process improvements.
