Job summary

Performance Drone Works, LLC is seeking a technically skilled Solutions Engineer to support Account Executives with customer engagements in unmanned systems. You will bridge technical capabilities with mission requirements, design tailored solutions, and mentor junior engineers.

The role demands DoD/law enforcement exposure, risk-managed demonstrations, and travel up to 75%. You will work with UAS platforms, LiDAR, and photogrammetry tools while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong

Qualifications

5+ years implementing and operating unmanned systems (sUAS).
Experience with CONOPS design and UAS hardware/software integration.
FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate with operational use.

Responsibilities

Design and implement operational frameworks for UAS solutions using CONOPS.
Collaborate with AEs to identify customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
Lead technical demonstrations of unmanned systems and ensure safety.
Develop responses to RFIs/RFPs and translate requirements into deliverables.
Manage field operations from pre-deployment to post-deployment readiness.
Oversee airspace requests and regulatory compliance (FAA Part 107).
Mentor Junior Solutions Engineers in UAS operations and integration.
