Shield AI is seeking an experienced Staff Product Support to lead logistics and sustainment for a next‑generation autonomous aircraft system. You will shape maintenance concepts, provisioning inputs, spares planning, and sustainment documentation across development, flight test, production, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain, aviation maintenance, business, or related field; equivalent military/defense logistics experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of experience supporting UAS or fighter aircraft logistics and sustainment.
• Experience with Maintenance Task Analysis and maintenance planning data.
• Expertise with Logistics Control Number structures and provisioning, maintenance planning, and supportability analysis.
• Experience with Reliability and Maintainability principles, including failure modes, availability metrics, and LORA development.
• Hands-on supply support experience: spares planning, provisioning, inventory management, and sustainment execution.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, configuration data, and maintenance data.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, program management, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to lead logistics efforts in a fast-paced program.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics and sustainment planning for a UAS program across design, production, deployment, and field support phases.
• Develop, manage, and maintain integrated logistics support products and sustainment documentation.
• Perform and manage Maintenance Task Analysis to define maintenance requirements, task frequencies, tools, and labor hours.
• Develop and maintain Logistics Control Number structures to support provisioning and documentation.
• Partner with engineering, program management, manufacturing, and customer stakeholders to embed logistics in design and execution.
• Support Reliability and Maintainability activities, including Level of Repair Analysis and availability improvement initiatives.
• Lead supply support activities: spares analysis, provisioning, inventory planning, and obsolescence management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, depots, repair vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely parts availability.
• Support proposals, basis of estimate inputs, staffing plans, and logistics cost estimates for UAS programs.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with defense standards, export controls, and company processes.
