Shield AI is seeking a Staff Product Support Specialist to support the design, development, integration, and fielding of a next generation autonomous aircraft system. This role will own assigned logistics planning, supply support, supportability analysis, and lifecycle support products across development, flight test, production, and operational sustainment.

The ideal candidate has solid experience supporting military or defense aviation programs and understands how logistics products, supportability analysis, maintenance planning, and supply chain execution contribute to mission availability and operational readiness. This position requires hands on experience with Maintenance Task Analysis, Logistics Control Numbers, Reliability and Maintainability artifacts, and Supply Support execution. This individual will work independently on defined product support areas and partner closely with senior logistics leaders, engineering, and program teams.

What You'll Do
  • Execute logistics and sustainment planning activities for assigned UAS subsystems and support areas across design, production, deployment, and field support phases.
  • Develop and maintain integrated logistics support products, including maintenance concept inputs, support equipment requirements, provisioning data, spares recommendations, and sustainment documentation.
  • Perform Maintenance Task Analysis to define preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, task frequencies, required tools, support equipment, skill levels, labor hours, and maintenance levels.
  • Build and maintain Logistics Control Number structures for assigned systems to support provisioning, maintenance planning, technical documentation, configuration tracking, and sustainment data management.
  • Support Reliability and Maintainability activities, including Level of Repair Analysis inputs, FMECA data review, maintainability assessments, corrective action tracking, and operational availability analysis.
  • Execute supply support activities, including spares analysis, provisioning, parts forecasting, inventory planning, reorder recommendations, repair pipeline tracking, and identification of obsolescence and sustainment risks.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, field operations, suppliers, and repair vendors to resolve support issues and ensure timely availability of parts, support equipment, and logistics resources.
  • Provide logistics inputs to proposals, basis of estimates, and cost estimates. Ensure assigned work complies with applicable defense standards, contract requirements, export control requirements, and company processes.
What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of experience supporting UAS, fighter, or other military aircraft logistics and sustainment.
  • Hands on experience performing Maintenance Task Analysis and developing maintenance planning data.
  • Working knowledge of Logistics Control Number structures and their use in provisioning, maintenance planning, and supportability analysis.
  • Experience applying Reliability and Maintainability principles, including failure modes, maintainability drivers, availability metrics, field performance data, and Level of Repair Analysis inputs.
  • Hands on supply support experience, including spares planning, provisioning, inventory management, parts forecasting, and repairable tracking.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, configuration data, maintenance data, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering, program management, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
