Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Dallas Office is seeking a Restructuring Senior Associate to lead turnaround projects across industries. You will develop cash flow analyses, participate in bankruptcy-related work, and collaborate with clients, legal counsel, and bankers in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes advanced financial modeling, strategic planning, and effective communication with client teams, with travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years in corporate restructuring, investment or banking, or consulting with 4+ years direct restructuring experience.
• BA/BS or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical fields.
• Advanced Microsoft, PowerPoint, and Word skills are required.
• CPA/CFA/CTP/CIRA progress towards certifications preferred.
• Understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Create liquidation analysis for Plan of Reorganization feasibility.
• Develop long-term business plans to track performance and working capital.
• Implement cash-conservation strategy and controls.
• Assist with pre-bankruptcy plans and bankruptcy document handling.
• Support marketing/pitch initiatives.
• Lead a work stream and mentor junior resources.
