Job summary

The Outreach Team seeks a Turf Director in Omaha or Lincoln, NE. You will lead turf operations for voter contact campaigns, using VAN, PDI, and GSuite to target the right voters daily. Expect data-driven strategy, strong team management, and a focus on health and safety for canvassers.

The role demands expertise in district walkability and demographic profiling, plus leadership to build a capable team and execute GOTV plans. Travel and rolling recruitment may occur.

Responsibilities

• Identify target precincts and voter subsets within assigned areas.
• Train and motivate staff; build leadership within the team.
• Foster diverse, respectful, equitable team culture and safety.
• Conduct weekly canvassing and ensure data integrity and quality control.
• Develop strategic plans to reach voters and constituencies in locations.
• Audit campaign data and monitor density, turf, and precinct tracking.
• Support GOTV strategy and historical data analysis.
• Collaborate with directors and external stakeholders on targets.
