Job summary

Caterpillar Solar Turbines in Desoto, Texas is seeking a Sr Overhaul Technician for the Shop Repair team on third shift. You will perform assembly/disassembly and repair of turbine components, following precise engineering drawings and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on mechanical or turbo machinery experience, 2+ years in gas turbines, and the ability to work overtime and weekends in a demanding, onsite environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical / turbo machinery experience.
• 2+ years gas turbine experience.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly/disassembly of Solar’s All of Solar 0 product lines per safety, quality, velocity and cost standards.
• Work from drawings, instructions, and shop practices; seek engineering support when needed.
• Maintain records and document assembly, disassembly or repairs per QMS; ensure clean workspace.
