Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology leader, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for MRO of turbine engines. This role owns rework, failure analysis, and upgrading legacy engines to current configurations, coordinating with design, quality, and planning teams.

You will manage advanced manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and additive manufacturing, while ensuring accurate as-built records and rapid, reliable turnarounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in turbomachinery component manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or high-performance industrial gas turbine industries.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, preferably NX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own disposition and rework of engines failing internal acceptance tests or returned by customers.
• Diagnose engine-level issues by analyzing test data and inspecting hardware to find root causes.
• Draft clear rework instructions and coordinate with production on tasks and priorities.
• Maintain configuration across EBOM/MBOM for traceability of engines.
• Lead teardown and inspection of returned engines and determine serviceability.
