Job summary

Anduril Industries in California is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for MRO of turbine engines. You will own manufacturing processes and documentation across EBOM/MBOM, collaborating with design, quality and supply chain to deliver reliable engine rework and upgrades.

The role requires 5+ years in turbomachinery or aerospace manufacturing, extensive CAD/CAM (NX preferred), CNC machining and additive manufacturing experience. Strong problem‑solving and teamwork are essential; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years in turbomachinery component manufacturing, aerospace or defense.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, NX or similar.
• Excellent problem‑solving, fast-paced, strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own disposition and rework of engines failing test or returned by customers.
• Diagnose engine‑level issues from test data and hardware inspection.
• Author rework instructions and coordinate with production on tasks and priorities.
• Manage configuration across EBOM and MBOM for traceability.
• Lead teardown and inspection of returned engines; assess serviceability or scrap.
• Define and manage upgrade paths to current configurations and required rework.
• Feed failure findings back to design, quality and reliability engineering.
• Estimate rework scope, cost and turnaround time; coordinate with planning and supply chain.
• Verify reworked engines meet requirements and pass acceptance testing.
• Maintain accurate as‑built records documenting final configuration.
