Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Turbomachinery Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for advanced turbine engines and their precision components used in defense systems.

The role demands hands-on ownership of technical challenges in fast-paced, resource-limited environments, with emphasis on DFx, tooling, and process automation. A strong background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing, plus experience in aerospace/defense, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related engineering field is required/preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in turbomachinery component manufacturing or equivalent defense/high-performance industrial contexts.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools (NX preferred) and modern manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust manufacturing processes for turbine engines and precision components.
• Specify and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability (DFx).
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process flows, and QC plans.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead projects on process improvements and capacity expansion.
• Provide training and technical support to production teams.
