Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking a Senior Tunnel Engineer/Regional Manager to lead tunnel and trenchless projects in our Underground Services Practice.

The role requires driving proposals, schedules, and client engagement, with an emphasis on delivering technically sound tunnel solutions and growth for the region. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in major underground projects, be a licensed Professional Engineer in California, and possess strong leadership and communication skills to

Qualifications

Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in tunnel, trenchless, or underground projects.
Experience in proposal writing and business development.
Excellent problem solving, decision making and teamwork skills.
Strong written and verbal communication with knowledge of codes and practices.

Responsibilities

Manage tunnel, trenchless and rehabilitation project proposals, costs and schedules.
Lead designers and field supervision teams to deliver projects.
Prepare technical deliverables and client specifications.
Develop client networks to pursue bids and expand workload.
Oversee geotechnical design, calculations and reports for tunnels.
Produce GBRs/ GDRs and other geotechnical documentation.
Support regional growth through industry involvement and partnership.
Work may include field duties during weekdays, nights, or weekends.
