Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an experienced Senior Tunnel Project Manager to lead major tunneling and underground infrastructure projects across the West Coast. You will oversee projects from preconstruction to closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and client relations.

The successful candidate will have 15+ years of heavy civil experience, with a strong background in microtunneling, pipe jacking, and deep sewer/water pipelines, and will lead a team of 10+ professionals in a results-driven,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant heavy civil construction experience.
• Minimum 4+ years directly managing tunneling or trenchless construction projects.
• Proven experience managing large and complex heavy civil projects.
• Strong background in microtunneling, pipe jacking, tunneling, or deep underground pipeline construction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.

Responsibilities

• Lead tunneling and underground infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Manage projects ranging from approximately $10M to $100M+.
• Provide leadership to project teams of 10+ employees.
• Develop construction sequencing, manpower plans, equipment requirements, and production goals.
• Monitor production, labor productivity, equipment utilization, subcontractor performance, and material costs.
• Identify project risks early and develop strategies to protect safety, schedule, budget, and margin.
• Review and negotiate change orders, claims, differing site conditions, and other contractual issues.
• Mentor Project Managers and engineers; maintain safety, quality, and accountability.
• Maintain strong client relationships and pursue repeat business.
