Aldea Design Services, LLC, an LJB Engineering Company, is seeking a Senior Tunnel Engineer/Regional Manager to lead tunnel and trenchless projects nationwide.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years in underground projects, with design and construction management, CA PE registration, and BD experience. Annual compensation is $200,000+ depending on experience. This role includes proposal work, client development, and geotechnical leadership.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in underground tunnel/trenchless projects with design and construction management.
- Experience in proposal writing and business development.
- Registered Professional Engineer in California; PMP preferred.
- Strong problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Project management for tunnel, trenchless and rehabilitation projects.
- Lead teams of designers and construction supervision staff.
- Prepare technical deliverables per client specifications.
- Build a regional client network for teaming and pursuits.
- Geotechnical engineering for tunnel/trenchless design and construction.
- Produce geotechnical calculations and related analyses.
- Prepare Geotechnical Data and Baseline Reports (GDR/GBR).
- Develop design parameters from geotechnical reports.
- Represent the firm in regional industry activities.
- Field work may include nights and weekends.
