Qualifications

• Associates degree required with relevant background in cancer registry or healthcare.
• Current Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification; must remain current.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and abstraction.
• Knowledge of cancer terminology, anatomy, physiology, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and abstract cancer-related information with high accuracy.
• Maintain regulatory reporting to Massachusetts State Cancer Registry and ACS standards.
• Coordinate special projects and data analysis to support research and quality initiatives.
• Support SAR documentation for ACS accreditation and govern data quality across the team.
• Mentor and supervise registry staff, assign tasks, monitor performance.
