Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in Bethesda, MD seeks an experienced Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Professional to identify vulnerabilities through comprehensive TSCM inspections and TEMPEST surveys. You will conduct RF/DF analysis, acoustic tests, and advise on ICD-level mitigations while developing security policies.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, advanced degrees or equivalent experience, and demonstrated leadership in IC environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 10-13 years.
• TSCM certification with TEMPEST assessment experience.
• Expert knowledge of radio frequencies, direction-finding procedures, wireless communications, and TSCM processes.
• General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Perform Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections.
• Conduct TEMPEST surveys and recommend mitigations.
• Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements.
• Research and develop policy and instruction at the agency and ICD level.
