Job summary

AVAV seeks a DevOps Engineer to sustain and enhance reporting tools that support mission success. You will deploy and manage applications across distributed environments, install and configure software, and monitor system performance to ensure reliability and security.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, 5+ years of experience, strong Linux/AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation skills. An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required due to contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise with Linux administration, AWS, cloud virtualization, networking, and security tooling.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage applications across distributed environments.
• Install, configure, and optimize complex software solutions.
• Administer servers, networks, and technology tools for reliability.
• Monitor and maintain systems to meet security and performance standards.
