Job summary
Falls Technology seeks a skilled automation engineer for on-site work in McLean, VA. You will automate Adobe workflows using JavaScript and ExtendScript, build UXP/CEP extensions, and modernize legacy scripts. Collaboration with a senior team is expected, along with Git-based version control and thorough testing.
The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and experience across InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop automation, plus web API/file integration and strong documentation
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop automation experience.
- JavaScript and ExtendScript experience.
- UXP or CEP development experience.
- Experience reworking legacy scripts.
- Web API and file integration experience.
- Git, documentation and regression testing.
Responsibilities
- Automate InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop workflows with JavaScript and ExtendScript.
- Build and maintain UXP and CEP extensions.
- Rework and modernize legacy scripts.
- Integrate automation with web APIs and file-based workflows.
- Manage code in Git, and write documentation and regression tests.
