Hickory Point Bank & Trust in Decatur, IL seeks a Vice President to lead the Trust and Wealth Management team, overseeing fiduciary administration, investment oversight, and business development.

The role requires guiding complex fiduciary relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving department growth through client partnerships. This senior position offers leadership impact and professional advancement within a community-focused bank.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in trust administration, estate settlement and/or estate planning.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; JD preferred.
• Completion of trust school and/or relevant industry certifications (CPA, CFP, CFA, CTFA) strongly preferred.
• Significant experience with trust accounting and portfolio management.
• Prior banking or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trust administration with focus on compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
• Lead policy and procedure reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with divisional leadership on Board and committee reporting.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations (FDIC, IDFPR).
• Prepare and review court accountings for court-supervised accounts.
• Oversee fiduciary income tax reporting and filings.
• Complete Regulation 9 annual reviews.
• Act as discretionary investment manager for assigned accounts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Bank departments.
• Serve on Trust Administrative and Investment Committees.
• Contribute to leadership and strategic initiatives.
