Airbnb is seeking a senior technical individual contributor to join our Trust Platform. You will work closely with leaders across the broader technical organization to design, execute, and deliver a complex roadmap for Trust engineering while remaining hands-on as a software engineer.

You will define the long-term vision for scalable, reliable systems that protect the community and enable high-quality fraud prevention.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of backend & platform engineering experience.
• BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience guiding multi-year technical roadmaps across sub-teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision for the Trust Platform.
• Dive deep into Trust Platform components and improve tooling.
• Champion an AI-first engineering approach with LLM-powered workflows.
• Partner with leaders across Product, Data Science, and ML teams to drive capabilities.
• Lead and mentor engineers across teams to raise technical standards.
